The short version
You can request a full refund within 24 hours of any charge. After that 24-hour window, that billing period is non-refundable — but you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
1. 24-Hour Refund Window
Lovelara offers a refund window of 24 hours from the time a payment is processed. If you request a refund within that window, we will refund the full amount of that charge to your original payment method.
The 24-hour window applies to:
- The initial purchase of a subscription;
- Each subsequent automatic renewal charge (monthly or annual);
- One-time purchases such as voice top-ups, where applicable.
After 24 hours have passed since a charge, that billing period is non-refundable. You will continue to have access to the paid features for the remainder of the period you paid for.
2. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation does not, by itself, generate a refund for charges already made — it simply prevents future charges.
Refund returns money you have already paid. To receive a refund for the most recent charge, you must request it within the 24-hour window above.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email billing@lovelara.app within 24 hours of the charge. Include:
- The email address on your Lovelara account;
- The approximate date and time of the charge;
- (Optional) the reason for the refund — this helps us improve.
We typically process refund requests within 3 business days. Funds may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Statutory Consumer Rights (EU / UK)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory withdrawal rights, you may have additional statutory refund rights. By starting to use the Service immediately after purchase, you expressly request that performance begin during the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once the digital service has been fully provided. Where statutory rights nonetheless apply, our policy does not limit them.
5. Chargebacks & Abuse
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we resolve almost all billing issues quickly. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated. Repeated or fraudulent refund requests may result in permanent account termination.
6. Free Trial
Where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and the standard 24-hour refund window applies to that first charge.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Charges are governed by the policy in effect at the time of the charge.
